Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is looking for a forward-thinking and collaborative Experience Architect to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Experience Architecture, the Experience Architect will act as a liaison between business partners and internal teams to ensure strategic application vision, user experience success, and the development of Human-Centered Design (HCD) delivery roadmaps. The successful candidate will drive the adoption and delight of digital applications by aligning business needs with digital solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Act as a Liaison to Business Partners:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners to understand their needs and translate them into digital strategies.
•    Facilitate communication between business partners and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

Drive Strategic Application Vision:
•    Collaborate with the Manager, Experience Architecture and other stakeholders to shape and drive a proactive strategic application vision.
•    Ensure digital strategies align with overall business objectives and user experience goals.

Develop and Maintain HCD Delivery Roadmaps:
•    Partner with the Manager, Experience Architecture to create and maintain HCD delivery roadmaps.
•    Ensure the roadmaps are comprehensive, actionable, and aligned with business goals.
Ensure Application Adoption and Delight:
•    Work closely with BRMs, Solution Architects, and internal teams to drive successful application adoption.
•    Focus on delivering an exceptional user experience that delights users and meets business needs.
Support Tactical Execution and Research:
•    Assist in the execution of discovery and research phases to gather essential insights and feedback.
•    Contribute to partner report-outs, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Deliver Project Accelerators:
•    Support the development and implementation of project accelerators, including ongoing research and business knowledge.
•    Help reduce discovery and design timelines by providing relevant insights and tools.


Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Strategy, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital strategy, user experience, or a related field.
•    Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and their application in digital projects.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
•    Proven ability to develop and execute digital strategies aligned with business goals.
•    Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
•    Proficiency in digital strategy tools and project management software.
 

Job Overview

Employees in this role guide developers through fulfilling the design experience.
