As a Fire Alarm Automation Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our building automation systems. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you’ll support our clients in Manchester, NH and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities::
Remain current on all training, certifications, licensing, and safety requirementsCollaborate with other technicians, engineers, sales managers, and customer support teams to deliver comprehensivesolutions and support to clientsRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and product manuals.Quote small repair jobs, provide detailed parts, and labor requirements to estimators and sales for large repair projectsSupport in developing submittals and as-built documents for small jobs.Program the addressable fire alarm systems to follow the sequence of operations approved, add the fireWork on the windows-based Honeywell front-end supervisor software, develop graphics for floor plans & field devicesDiagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty partsConduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulations, standards and design implemented across buildings or campuses.Work on Honeywell’s front end supervisor software to run routine reports & review system operationsMaintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
YOU MUST HAVE:
High School diploma or equivalent GED.NICET I FAS Certification2+ years’ experience working within a construction or field service environmentExperience in the fire and security industryAbility to troubleshoot, conduct repairs, and work independentlyValid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to HoneywellAbility to travel throughout the service areaAbility to read and understand design & construction documentsWE VALUE:
