Sr Finance Analyst

Job Brief

This position will be responsible for helping to drive the financial performance of the Commercial Bank as well as supporting the Commercial Onboarding and Servicing team. Strong partnering skills and effective communication are integral competencies of this position as an individual in this role will be working closely with senior leadership in both the Line of Business and Finance.  This role will also require strong analytical skills, an enterprise mindset and robust knowledge of financial and profitability concepts. 

Essential Job Functions 

Financial and strategic partner working closely with the Regional Sales Executives in the Commercial Bank and the Commercial Onboarding and Servicing leadership team:

Provides monthly/quarterly reporting analyzing financial results and performance to targets and progress to strategic initiativesOwns the short and long term forecasting processDevelops or enhances existing driver based forecast models for the Commercial Bank loan portfolio and associated feesPartner with the Commercial Onboarding and Servicing team to find efficiencies and manage expensesPresents to senior leadership on a quarterly or monthly basis with a focus on translating business driver trends to forward looking risks and opportunitiesComplete required external and regulatory reports as neededProvide research on miscellaneous items and complete ad hoc analysis as necessaryDevelop strong working relationships with business unit leadership, peers, and partners

​Required Qualifications 

Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)3+ years of diverse analytical experience in Finance, preferably with exposure to bankingOrganized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creativelyStrong financial and/or accounting acumenExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertiseProven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achievedDetail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited directionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
