Sr Finance Business Partner

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Incumbent acts as a trusted advisor on the financial performance by reviewing and analyzing both financial and nonfinancial data to assist leadership within the Organization with strategic decision making.

Essential Job Functions:

Collaborate with operational teams to develop and manage annual budgets, providing insights on financial goals and constraints.

Conduct regular financial analysis, highlighting key performance indicators and variances to support informed decision-making.

Work closely with operational leaders to forecast future financial trends, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Provide strategic financial guidance for projects and initiatives, evaluating potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, fostering effective communication between finance and other operational leaders.

Develop and present financial reports to operational leaders, offering actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Prepare and present the financial information for leadership meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Participate in the development of business strategies, offering financial expertise to align objectives with organizational goals.

Monitor and assess the financial impact of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.

Stay informed of emerging financial tools and technologies to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strategic thinking and the ability to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple

priorities effectively.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

Six years of relevant experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields required.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required

MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) preferred.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.

Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.

All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.

Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.

Physical Requirements:

ADA Consideration - Sedentary work:  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
