About the Role & Team
Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for The Walt Disney Company, encompassing all aspects of music monetization: Recorded Music (Walt Disney and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally; and also licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming and consumer products.
What You Will Do
You will join a collaborative team performing financial responsibilities for DMG, including budgeting, forecasting, project modeling, and variance analysis. You will drive collaborative efforts with DMG partners and engage with Finance and Accounting professionals across the organization.

Responsible for the compilation and analysis of the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly forecast & close, and 5-Year strategic planning.Collaborate with internal finance team members and accounting to improve the planning process, actualize models, and validate forecasting assumptions.Work closely with DMG teams to develop and create budgets.Prepare financial reports and various investigative analyses for Senior Management.As the primary Finance partner for DMG stakeholders, foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, providing financial support while serving as a change agent to challenge the status quo.Conduct ad hoc reporting to support business needs, delivering data-driven analysis to uncover strategic insights.This is a hybrid role based out of Burbank, CA. The team is in the office 4 days a week.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum two years of finance or accounting experience with keen interest in Entertainment / Music
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
Experience in enterprise level systems such as SAP, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau, Alteryx or experience in similarly related systems
Strong working knowledge in key accounting principles
Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a constructive curiosity to lead change
Strong relationship builder with the ability to autonomously and diplomatically work through problems
Ability to manage multiple high priority projects under tight deadlines
Flexibility in role and duties given the evolving music industry landscape
Education
Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative field required

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $101,800 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
