Sr Financial Analyst
Job Title: Sr Financial AnalystJob Description This position is responsible for assisting the CFO with providing financial analysis and business decision support for each of the Company’s Business Divisions and the overall operations of the Company. This function acts as the analytical engine of the Company to provide financial insights and support optimal business decision-making. This individual will be a key contributor to the FP&A function and will support the Company’s forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting activities along with any ad-hoc projects requested by management. The analyst will interact directly with internal stakeholders at all levels, including upper management and executives. Responsibilities + Analyze financial information to determine past and present financial trends and performance. + Review monthly financial data for accuracy and identify any issues that need to be corrected. + Assist with the day-to-day accounting procedures. + Assist with the month-end close process including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. + Assist with creating quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. + Responsible for creating and/or maintaining advanced Excel models. + Work with business operators on an as-needed basis to review financial performance and business drivers. + Assist with monthly Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) write-up. + Assist with monthly financial reporting packages and PowerPoint presentation materials. + Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information. + Self-starter who seeks out information and takes initiative. + Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret results and draw and present conclusions. + Strong business writing and communication skills. + Result-oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity. + Minimum 4 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role. + Experience with financial analytics software such as Power BI or Tableau. + Proficiency in Excel. + Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Aspire and Acumatica, preferred but not required. + Experience with Power BI, preferred but not required. + Great communicator with a good attitude. Work Environment The company is PE-owned and experiencing significant growth. The role involves working with financial analytics software and advanced Excel models.
