Develops reporting, analyze, and present findings on business operations, working cross functionally to gather data and automate reporting where possible. + Provides support for annual plan, monthly forecasts and performance reporting. + Supports monthly results analysis and reporting - provide detailed and thoughtful explanations for variances, and research open items. Proactively evaluates the key drivers and metrics, and partners on driving operational efficiencies and performance. + Collaborates with the Accounting team on accruals and other elements of the close process. + Helps identify cost saving and profit maximizing opportunities to improve current processes and provide more meaningful information to key decision makers. + Partners with the business to ensure accuracy for spend, headcount, and other key metrics based on operational performance. Technical Skills: + Financial Modelling: ability to build models to forecast/plan financial performance and other key metrics + Data Analysis & Reporting: proficient in analyzing financial data and creating reports to assess business performance + Advance Excel Skills: strong knowledge on excel function is a plus (Vlookup, macro, pivot, formulas that can be used to efficiently analyze the financial data and in modelling) + Budgeting & Forecasting: expertise in preparing, analyzing and managing budgets as well as forecasting future financial trends + Financial Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software like GEP, Adaptive, Planful, TM1/WFP, Cognos is a plus + Accounting Knowledge: understanding financial statements, profit & loss, accounting terms/entries + Proactively identify process automation and improvements: can automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency Analytical Skills: + Critical Thinking: ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, make data driven decisions and able to tell story with financial data. + Quantitative Analysis: strong skills to interpret financial results.
