Responsibilities

Summary: (Fully Remote/Virtual Role)

Responsible for complex and interpretive financial analyses. Provides periodic reports and special studies for management. May be responsible for the operational areas and corporate function’s annual budget process, forecasts, or statistical / operational reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. May coach less-experienced Financial Analysts. 

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic planning and profitability reporting for specific operational or corporate functionsProvides detailed analytical support for corporate or operational functions to include market dynamics, competitive information, and internal revenue or cost drivers to allow the team to make more informed strategic decisionsConsults with other team members to analyze opportunities and alternatives for improving financial and operational performanceEngages in project planning and implementationDrives the annual budget process for an operational or corporate functionMay oversee the completion of projects or assignments including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.May assume other duties as applied Qualifications

Required Skills:

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of a particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments.Advanced knowledge of organization’s technologies and practicesAbility to provide insightful analytics to executive managementAbility to interface with all levels of the organizationAbility to assimilate broad source data into planning modelsAbility to identify variances and trendsStrong knowledge of PC-related tools for detailed analysis, technology applications and data utilizations (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent, general ledger and reporting software, data visualization software)Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlinesAbility to write standard reports that clearly communicates findings and methodologies

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Cognos or other BI Software Knowledge our experience in business analytics and data visualization software

Physical Role Requirements: Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day.  Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.  Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones.  Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment. 

 

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required, Master’s degree preferred, CPA/CFA preferred

 

Minimum Experience required: 5+ years of experience in related field, including some supervisory experience required

Other/State Specific

This role pays between $96,500 to 105,000 and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
