Job Description Summary

               

Lamb Weston is searching for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst – ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) who will define, capture, analyze, and report global ESG related financial impacts. This position will support Lamb Weston’s ESG program by engaging in a variety of internal processes including complex sustainability metrics, data analytics and reporting, financial risk mitigation, carbon regulation compliance strategy, cross functional collaboration with other ESG KPI owners, and supporting Lamb Weston’s ESG strategy execution. This position is also the primary liaison between ESG, cross functional ESG resources, and Finance functions ensuring connectivity with proper teams for efficient and accurate workstreams.

Responsibilities include financial assessment of company-wide project work (strategic, agriculture, capital, non-capital, etc.), energy transition impacts (cost to implement, cost for inaction or delayed action), resource use and material reduction work, and regulatory compliance and non-compliance. This role will deliver on various internal reporting efforts to ensure Lamb Weston’s information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner. This role will also engage in financial risk mitigation strategy development, capital program management, grants and incentives, and externally reported metrics

Job Description

Support and aid in development of ESG and Sustainability initiatives and programsDefine, implement, and track progress on ESG related metrics, goals, and performance measures including financial and non-financial performanceMonitor and provide insight on regulatory body requirements and impacts of compliance and/or non-complianceAdvise financial risk mitigation tactics to ensure compliance with carbon regulation while balancing fiscal responsibility.Assist ESG and Global Engineering as Finance lead to secure alternate project funding opportunities including grants, incentives, and other strategic projects.Review company-wide projects impacting ESG metrics to determine financial impactsDevelop true cost models for key natural resources like water, energy, and land.Collaborate with Lamb Weston ESG Team Members as well as key internal customers, including Global Engineering, , Procurement, Manufacturing, Ag Services, Capital Management, and Corporate Finance groupsCollaborate with other ESG KPI owners to design and manage global ESG dashboards and reportsAssist in the consolidation of the Supply Chain monthly business review reportingSupport other special projects and ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

5+ years general business and financial experience, with preferred experience in Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain, or ESGBachelor’s degree in Finance or related fieldUnderstanding of ESG strategies metrics and reportingExperience working within carbon regulation and compliance pathways and/or grant programs preferredDemonstrate ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environmentComfortable working in an evolving field where processes and procedures will need to be definedAbility to analyze and assimilate data at multiple levels of the organizationStrong ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, and lead initiatives in an organized and efficient mannerReporting: proven ability to consolidate complex information into usable customer-oriented formats.Business Partnering: experience working closely with internal customers, peers and effectively managing those relationships.Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software tools preferredProficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Proficient with Power BI and/or DOMO.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $81,620.00 - $122,430.00
