**What** **you'll** **be doing**
As a key member of the US Finance team, the Sr. Financial Systems Consultant will support and maintain organizational systems by loading data, performing checks, and conducting reconciliations. This role involves assisting the Finance team during month-end close and forecasting processes, as well as maintaining reports across multiple hierarchy structures. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to data governance and controls, and participate in various projects as required to enhance financial operations.
_You’ll_ _have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where_ _you’ll_ _spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote_ _._
**How** **you'll** **succeed**
+ **Understanding and documenting requirements -** Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
+ **Solution design -** Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
+ **Leading and mentoring** – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
+ **Support Finance team** through month-end close and forecasting processes

+ **You have a degree/diploma in** Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field,
+ **You have at least 3** **years experience** in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
+ **You can** **demonstrate** **3** **years experience** **in** a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions. **I** **t’s** **an asset if** you have experience with Hyperion/Essbase experience.
+ **You can** **demonstrate** **experience** with SQL databases and SQL query language.
+ **It’s** **an asset if you have experience** with Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of **_$_** **_85,000.00 - $110,000.00_** for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
