Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:
Support Finance Controller in the financial analysis, financial planning, daily operations and implementation of sound financial policies and procedures that comply with international and local Abbott regulations and practices.
Major Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecast
Monthly Sales and P&L forecast for CMR purpose; develop action plans to achieve organizational objectives.Drive forecasting accuracy and improve scenario/contingency planning in dealing with volatility and uncertainty; support local partnership with initiatives.Coordinate the development and preparation of annual budget and investment plans and updates based on overall financial objectives and market projections.Lead and support of preparing CMR and LBE package.Profitability and Margin improvement
Track monthly actuals of gross margin improvement actions and price increase realization.Prepare rolling 12 months of customer profitability report and provide insight for management team to take an action to improve customer profitability.Provide monthly margin analysis of product and customer mix; To Market and In Market sales.Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth and profitability as well as process improvements.Finance Control and Review
Ensure that departmental expenses do not exceed the budget and/or updates and develop and implement action plans to reduce and control expenses.Improve and review performance measurement and incentive payout as collaborating with commercial excellence analyst.Periodically review and take actions to ensure that company's assets, including cash, receivables, inventories, and service equipment, are adequately assessed and managed.Develop and implement adequate information system to support entity operations.Keep abreast of changing laws and regulations related to finance and accounting.Collaboration
Provide first line finance support to CoreDx Korea commercial team.Maintain good working relations with country, Area, Division and Corporate finance organizations.Ensure adequate two-way communication with other departments.Educations:
BA degree in accounting or business administration.Fluent English language proficiency to present and defend plans and viewpoints.Thorough knowledge of US and Korean GAAP.Working knowledge of PC word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications.Background:
More than 5 years of experience in finance/accounting functions.
