Position Summary: Oversees warehouse and shipping operations for an entire manufacturing facility. Develops and implements the total plant warehouse strategy in conjunction with the goals and objects of the manufacturing facility. Monitors and ensures that financial objectives are met in terms of volume, cost, and quality. Defines and develops warehouse objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain efficiency and eliminate waste. Identifies and resolves operational and other functional issues that may impact business performance in the short-term. Liaisons and collaborates with manufacturing leadership in order to meet strategic objectives. Ensures compliance to existing processes and implements improvements to local processes
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Warehouse and Inventory control Teams.Complete cycle counts program with a Coverage of 100% before year ends.Ensure Warehouse and Inventory control team have correct skills to perform at level expected.Work with warehouse team and production areas to ensure at least a 98% of inventory accuracy, Net and Absolute.Support and lead all projects related to inventory reduction to achieve 10% of reduction year over year.Manage and control all Negative inventory to reduce it to a minimum level.Supervise and audit all JIB related to Financial Compliance inventory Management SOP to maintain integrity in all processes. Maintain Warehouse areas out of risks and at 5S’s level expected.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.MS Office suite Power User (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Ability to utilize ERP/MRP systems (Oracle Preferred)Good verbal and written communication skills.Analytics SkillsRequired Education / Experience / Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 5+ years.
