Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Job Description

Architect and design custom CT hardware while producing comprehensive documentation. Develop hardware-accelerated encryption/decryption for custom network protocols and design interfaces between modem assembly and antenna.

ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design custom CT hardware.Produce detailed CT documentation, including interface control documents.Design and develop hardware-accelerated encryption/decryption for custom network protocols.Design interfaces between modem assembly and antenna.Create detailed hardware architecture and design to support military platform requirements.Provide detailed documentation for electrical and hardware interfaces, including ICD.Develop custom FPGA register-transfer level code to implement encryption/decryption of data paths, including integration of third-party IP cores.Design hardware interfaces to support the integration of critical hardware used in the gateway solution, including modem assembly and antenna.Essential SkillsTest engineering experience.Environmental testing experience.Test integration experience.Hardware design experience.Experience in antenna or satellite hardware design.FPGA design and development experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsDetailed hardware architecture and design experience for CT changes to support military platform requirements.Experience in producing detailed documentation for electrical and hardware interfaces.Experience in developing custom FPGA register-transfer level code.Work Environment

You will work onsite three days a week in Northridge, CA, collaborating on low orbiting satellite projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.
