Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr HR Business Partner in Sonora, California. The Sr HR Business Partner will collaborate with human resource partners to provide targeted consulting to management/supervisors for an assigned area and assist in developing proactive people strategies. The role will also involve implementing strategies to support needs across the department and assisting with various system-wide programs.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with communities of expertise (COE) and management to identify management/employee needs.
• Work directly with senior and middle operational management to operationalize people strategies developed by HR leaders.
• Provide front line direction, guidance, and support for local management around initiatives, workforce planning, employment needs, and onboarding strategies.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert in own and possibly related disciplines.
• Participate in management department meetings and provide recommendations around implications for department employees.
• Identify opportunities to improve team and departmental effectiveness and support more senior Partners in developing solutions in collaboration with and leveraging COE expertise.
• Support other HR Partners in local roll-out and implementation of all COE programs, initiatives, policies, protocols, and tools across each of the COEs.
• Manage local employee relations issues under guidance from the HR leader and the employee relations COE.
• Support the HR leader in local workforce planning, skill requirements gap assessments, and employment strategies in alignment with broader HR Strategy.
• Assist in the implementation of system-wide programs including succession planning, performance management, talent development, employee advocacy programs, processes, and total rewards and wellness programs.
Requirements • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven experience in delivering training initiatives
• Strong understanding of operations and operational procedures
• Ability to develop and implement policy

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) administration
• Knowledge of medical coverage policies and procedures
• Experience in consulting and providing advice on HR related matters
• Proven experience in onboarding new employees
• Demonstrated ability in the implementation of HR initiatives
• Ability to work effectively with partners and stakeholders
• Proven collaboration skills
• Knowledge of HR protocols and standards
• Experience in managing employee relations
• Demonstrated experience in change management
• Ability to resolve technical issues
• Proven ability to lead special projects
• Experience in managing and delivering HR deliverables
• Proven experience in performance management
• Understanding of equity capital and its implications
• Experience in developing and implementing salary structures
• Knowledge of acquisitions and their impact on HR
