JOB OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and knowledgeable assistance to all internal and external customers in an effort to make a positive Human Resources experience in support of the Callaway Golf Employer of Choice Culture. This is a highly responsible position, requiring an advanced and broad-based knowledge of general HR concepts.  Helps to maintain employee files, generate/process forms, provides information to employees on various matters. Drive effective HR processes throughout the organization while administratively supporting the HR Business Management team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with the HR Team and Managers, communicating with internal and external customers at all levels.Facilitates new hire onboarding, conduct pre-employment check, relocation process and orientation for internal transfers and new hires.Assists with recruiting for associates which include resume screening, phone screens, interviewing, new hire paperwork and reference checking.Manages and directs complex and long-term projects to completion, which may include influencing peers.Coordinate appropriate project planning tasks, including resources allocation, task assignment, and progress monitoring.Draft policies, programs, or procedures and work to finalize with the help of HR staff.Conducts new hire orientation and other presentations as needed.Utilizes data from reports and makes recommendations. Assists with employee relations and partners with HR Business Manager.Answers questions related to HR policies and procedures.Support employee engagement initiatives and activities for entire facility.Track employee training records and compliance with mandatory training requirements.Conduct exit interviews.Serves as the primary point of contact for onsite employees regarding payroll and benefits concerns, providing prompt support and assistance with inquiries related to compensation, PTO, and health insurance.Works closely with the Payroll and Benefits teams to address and resolve employee issues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutions to discrepancies or concerns.Supports, executes, and administers Collective Bargaining Agreement.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong teaming/interpersonal skillsAbility to understand complexities of project managementAbility to monitor project effectiveness and make needed task adjustments to complete necessary work correctly and on time. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization and with outside candidatesAbility to conduct group presentationsMust be able to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilitiesPrevious experience working with Workday preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years previous experience in fast-paced HR support roleBachelor’s Degree or other college-level education requiredCompletion of HR certificate a plus, or equivalent knowledge
