Job Summary

This position is the main HR focal point to assigned OIMs and Rig Managers. The role provides guidance and counsel to the rig leadership in support of the company’s offshore workforce, while serving in an advisory/consultative role on governance issues related to company standard, procedure, relevant laws, and regulations, all while ensuring compliance, and identifying and managing risks to the company on a global scale. This role addresses employee relations issues, coaching and strategic resolution, i.e., for investigations, discipline, performance improvement, people development, grievances, and termination.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with assigned OIMs and Rig Managers to plan and execute strategic people movements.Manage and advise leadership on employee relations issues and performance management tools and processes. Attend weekly meetings with OIMs and Rig Managers to provide relevant HR guidance to meet operational and personnel objectives.Create and facilitate training to educate leadership on HR topics.Support succession/talent development processes and conversations alongside organizational development team.Initiate transactions and maintain personnel data in HR system of record. Conduct offshore investigations as required.

Education

Minimum Required - Some College. Course work in Human Resources or another relevant field. Equivalent work experience, or offshore experience in lieu of formal education considered.Preferred Level - Bachelor's Degree. In Human Resources or another relevant field. HR Professional Certification, a plus.

Experience

Minimum Required - 5-8 years in progressively higher HR influencing or Operational Rig Based roles. Demonstrated experience in human resource disciplines including workforce planning/staffing, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.Preferred Level - 8+ years in HR influencing roles or Operational Rig Based roles. Oil and gas industry experience, a plus for non-operational profiles.

Skills

Proficient with MS Office products. Fluent in English, written and verbal. Proficiency in HCM applications.
