Sr HR Technology Analyst

Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. **Summary:** This position consults with Human Capital Management (HCM) process owners to understand the business case for change, recommends process improvements, documents scope and objectives for proposed projects, and works with process owners, Information Systems, and in some cases 3rd party partners to design, test and implement HCM solutions of moderate to high complexity. The incumbent is viewed as both a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned processes and a technical expert who knows how to apply relevant technology to meet business requirements. The position works closely with Information Services team on projects, enhancements and break fixes. The Sr. HR Technology Analyst supports company HR systems and serves as (SME) for Infor/Lawson HCM platform modules. The incumbent will exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. **Other information:** **Required Job Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in computer science, human resources, or business; candidates with an Associate degree in one of these majors. • 8+ years of prior HRIS functional analyst experience working with Lawson/Infor experience or another complex ERP will also be considered. • 6+ years of experience in an HRIS role responsible for design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support and maintenance required. • Strong and diverse functional knowledge of HCM processes, best practices, and trends. • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting technical information and explaining computer-related concepts and instructions to a wide range of audiences. • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to juggle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously. • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, both with minimal supervision. May also provide work direction to more junior HR Tech Analysts. • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment. • Possesses a strong detail orientation but also comfortable working in the abstract. • Effective at managing multiple tasks and projects, including an ability to respond to changing demands, priorities, procedures, and technology often under conditions of ambiguity. • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.), including experience with advanced functionality in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, string manipulation, etc.). • Experience working with data, including basic knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, and other data management/reporting skills. **Preferred Job Qualifications:** • Experience across multiple functional areas is desired, specific areas Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, and Benefits. • Prior experience working in an Agile environment desired. • Professional HR Certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) not required but would be considered an asset. • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Lawson/Infor, ServiceNow - HR Service Delivery, etc.) not required but would be considered an asset. • Professional Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) not required but would be considered an asset. • 3+ years of experience supporting Infor/Lawson. **Responsibilities:** • Actively participates in and may lead the planning and scoping of projects to recommend and implement new or to enhance existing HCM solutions of moderate to high complexity. • Facilitates the capture of and/or captures business requirements resulting in functional specifications of moderate to high complexity. • Translates functional specifications into functional designs for HCM solutions of moderate to high complexity. • Collaborates with systems analysts and/or developers to translate functional specifications/designs into technical specifications/designs/solutions. • Performs system configuration, as required, to meet functional and technical requirements. • Designs and executes unit, system integration, and user acceptance test cases; designs and facilitates system integration testing and user acceptance testing workshops. • Coordinates and/or participates in the creation of collateral (i.e., job aids, training content, support documentation, change and communications planning) to prepare for go-live. • Participates in go-live activities (i.e., data preparation/conversion, training delivery, change and communications plan execution) • Supports solution post-go-live by investigating and analyzing system non-conformance and performance issues, collaborating with process owners, IS, and 3rd party partners to recommend, test, and deploy remedies. • Facilitates accurate and timely entry and maintenance of employee data, including but not limited to defining specifications for uploading mass changes into the system; makes recommendations on structure and system changes to improve processes and data integrity. • Creates and maintains recurring and ad hoc report specifications; collaborates with IS Knowledge Management to deliver reports to the business. • Supports project execution by monitoring project plan(s), planning personal tasks, reporting status proactively, and consistently meeting deadlines. • Maintains awareness of current trends in HCM processes and technologies by attending webinars, training, user groups, and relevant vendor sponsored events. • Handles moderate to high complexity issues raised through HCM ticketing system. • Performs all job duties while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and in accordance with establishes Rush policies/procedures and industry best practices. • Mentors Associate HR Technology Analysts, HR Technology Analysts, and other more junior HR professionals. • Performs related duties, as assigned.
