Sr HRIS Analyst

Summary:

The Sr. HRIS Analyst serves as the operational expert for human resources information systems providing advanced consultative and analytical services to optimize utilization and improve data integrity. The Sr. HRIS Analyst takes a lead role in providing standard and ad hoc reports while collaborating with leaders and other stakeholders to define and enhance internal processes and partnering with the IS team to implement system solutions. 

 

Responsibilities:

Serves as a cross functional project lead facilitator and general subject matter expert (SME) for HR system capability enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

Identifies opportunities to improve the user experience utilizing workflows and configurations; performs a thorough analysis of proposed changes outlines advantages and disadvantages of proposed solutions and communicates them to the team following through until closure.

Serves as a point of contact for troubleshooting day-to-day issues acting as a point of escalation for the HRIS Analyst responsible for production support including research troubleshooting and resolving issues. Provides back-up production support as needed.

Gathers reporting requirements from non-technical users. Advises customers in reporting best practices as well as technical opportunities and challenges. Develops standard and ad hoc reports and works with customers to ensure data is validated and the resulting report fulfills the business need.

Maintains the integrity of system data by defining monitoring adhering to and enhancing data governance and business processes. Assists in designing effective audit procedures; communicates audit requirements.

Works closely with other SMEs HRIS team members and stakeholders from across the organization to develop proposals and project plans. Partners with the Human Resources Solution Center (HRSC) and other stakeholders to identify process efficiencies and auditing needs.

In collaboration with the HR leadership team recommends security role assignments based on business needs and maintains related documentation.

Collaborates with the IS team to translate business needs for system implementation. Submits corresponding change requests as needed. Creates and maintains documentation of new or changes to existing system configuration.

Maintains working knowledge of interfaces and assists in determining interface specifications.

Works in partnership with HR leadership HR functional areas and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develops training material and programs for end users of the HRIS.

Participates in the planning coordination and execution of regular HRIS release updates including the creation and/or updating of test scripts. Provides direction to dedicated HR functional area ensuring testing is completed according to the test plan.

Researches other technology solutions to identify potential system solutions that could improve HR process efficiency.

Other information:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration HR Management or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three years of HRIS or related experience required.

Proficiency in Workday HCM required.

Proven analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Applied attention to detail and experience translating business needs into technical solutions and troubleshooting issues.

Experience with HRIS reporting tools and advanced skills using Excel SharePoint MS Teams; proficiency in additional Microsoft 365 applications.

Understanding of HR processes and regulatory requirements.
