Job Description
The Sr. Mechanical HVAC Technician performs inspections, adjustments, maintenance, installation, and replacement of Mechanical, HVAC, and Refrigeration systems according to manufacturer’s recommendations, departmental, and GMP standards. This role includes providing general repairs, calibrations, and maintenance of all facilities' mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration-related equipment. You will also conduct general facility inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Calibration responsibilities are shared with the Equipment Technician and vendors. Additionally, you will assist the Facility Sr. Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility and its systems
ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, adjustments, maintenance, installation, and replacement of Mechanical, HVAC, and Refrigeration systems.Provide general repairs, calibrations, and maintenance of all facilities' mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration-related equipment.Conduct general facility inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.Share calibration responsibilities with Equipment Technician and vendors.Assist Facility Sr Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility and its systems.Essential SkillsHigh School DiplomaJourneyman’s HVAC license or equivalent required or currently in processCFC Certification requirement or current in processValid State Driver’s LicenseFive (5) years’ experience in installation, maintenance and/or repair of commercial air conditioning and air handling equipment, or related field.Four (4) years’ experience in repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in welding.Experience as a maintenance technician.Knowledge of boiler systems, including repair and troubleshooting.Experience in facilities maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role operates Monday through Friday with overtime and on-call duties as needed. You will be working in a nonprofit organ donation procurement organization that employs over 1200 people across the US.
