Overview:

Blue Yonder, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking a Sr Industry Strategies Director to join our Sales team. The Sr Industry Strategies Director will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring customer success in across Specialty Retail in North America.

Scope

The successful candidate will operate at CXO level within our customers, providing thought leadership on business strategy and transformation, leveraging your experience and knowledge of the industry. Your gravitas, acumen and communication skills, will present you as an authoritative expert, representing Blue Yonder capabilities in a business context.Working with the global Industry strategy peers and the senior cross-functional team, you will support the GTM approach according to TAM analysis and industry trends.Support the GTM approach: co-defining the sales plays, industry packaging and messaging, thought leadership content and Partner strategy.

Support the Annual GTM Business Plan for Hardlines and Softlines– 50%

GTM approach and Budget Interlock planPerformance Analysis and InsightsSales Plays & Sales Play Content CreationIndustry packaging, differentiation & industry messagingThought Leadership Content

Execution of Sales/Events – 40%

Sales support at CXO levelParticipation in Industry eventsAdvisory boardsBuilding strong customer references

Contribute to Corporate Strategy – 10%

Industry trends - develop market growth and development plans for expanding industriesSupport TAM analysis and opportunitiesBusiness CasesInvestment input (roadmap, acquisitions, etc.)Ecosystem PartnershipsBusiness models

What we are looking for

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Specialty Retail (Hardlines and Softlines), with a focus on industry-specific strategiesStrong business acumen, with the ability to understand complex industry trends and driversExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence key industry stakeholdersStrong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive resultsExperience in a team-based selling environment.Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.

The salary range for this position is $168,875.90 USD to $219,124.09 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
