Pay Range: $82,000-$103,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

We are looking for a Sr Supervisor for our Innovation Lab in Tacoma, WA. 

The Innovation Lab (iLab) Supervisor will be responsible for all manufacturing activities in the iLab.  This hands-on position will require the chosen candidate to work with New Product Development Engineers to create new products, assist in the set-up of production equipment, develop manufacturing processes, supervise lab staff, while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-equipped lab.

Lab Supervisor

Create and maintain safety first lab processes and procedures Order and maintain inventory of consumable items within the lab Maintain lab and equipment Supervise and train lab associates Interact with iLab customers (Dealers, contractors, homeowners, and architects) Schedule production & shipment of products

Assist NPD Engineering

Fabricate and assemble newly designed window and door products Participate in the set-up and adjust manufacturing equipment Participate in the development of the manufacturing processes Witness installation of products on jobsites Troubleshoot issues with design, manufacture, and other items throughout the process

  Requirements 

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, or commensurate combination of experience & education Ability to fabricate and assemble fenestration products Knowledge of machinery, tools, and other equipment Creative problem-solving skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

5+ years’ Engineering experience 3+ years’ experience managing/supervising others Working knowledge of windows and doors
