Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Performs and/or manages activities to support key strategic initiatives, assists in the development of the strategic planning process and overall support of the program office. May create and assign detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for Innovation team and team projects. Works under minimal supervision. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Support multiple projects and assists in planning work activities relating to those projects as a team participant and/or individual contributor: Analyzes, develops, and communicates key project initiatives. Maintains engagement with business units. Assists in the development of work processes for strategic initiatives. Assists others in planning and prioritizing work and work schedule. Maintain technical knowledge of applications and business acumen. (50%) Support the strategic planning process: Supports the development of materials as it relates to Innovation. Utilizes best practices to improve planning processes. Cascades the vision through aligning and engaging employees. Communicates key strategic initiatives by presenting at employee meetings across the company. (50%) Job Scope JOB SCOPE Independent contributor, reporting to Manager of Technology Innovation Takes direction from VP, Director, Managers and/or project team leads Interacts regularly with key managers and executives on issues Provides periodic written/oral presentations to managers, key managers and director Able to travel across Exelon sites and business units as required (up to 20%) Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum completion of a 4 year degree with a relevant major field of study 4-7 years of industry/related experience Strong interpersonal skills and solid written and oral communication skills Ability to translate project initiatives to core team members and business units Ability to frame ambiguous issues and structure an appropriate analysis Demonstrated ability to apply strategic and critical thinking to problem solving Ability to work productively with diverse teams Ability to work independently to advance assignments and drive efforts to completion In lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to develop and implement strategic and energizing approaches to strengthen the innovation culture at BGE Desire to foster innovation program engagement Ability to think broadly and drive consensus across the innovation ecosystem Experience leading strategic thought sessions throughout the organization Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations and communications to motivate and educate stakeholders Confidence to thoughtfully question, improve, and reinvigorate processes, frameworks and cultural norms Bachelor's degree preferred in Business/ Finance or related field Benefits Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $88,800.00/Yr. - USD $133,200.00/Yr.
