The Sr Internal Auditor position is responsible for performing internal audit work throughout Community Health Network. Sr Internal Auditors are expected to have internal and/or compliance audit experience and to demonstrate proficiency in performing internal and compliance audit work which conforms to professional standards. Assigned work is expected to be carried out with limited supervision.  

 

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications 

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. 
 

Bachelor’s degree required.  In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.  Three (3) years of healthcare auditing and/or internal control documentation and evaluation experience required.   Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) through the Institute of Internal Auditors or other related certification strongly preferred.  Proficiency in applying audit tests/procedures and accurately interpreting results against defined criteria and to ensure work is competently and efficiently performed in accordance with professional and departmental standards.  This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely if you reside outside of the central Indiana region. Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states. Applicants from other states may apply; however, if hired, they will be required to relocate to one of the above states within 60 days of their employment date.
