Position Overview:

Honeywell is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of IT Infrastructure to lead the IT separation and infrastructure setup for the spin-off of our Aerospace division into an independent company. This individual contributor role will collaborate closely with our chosen vendor to manage the comprehensive infrastructure requirements, ensuring a seamless transition and operational readiness for the newly formed entity.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nDevelop and implement the strategy for the separation of IT infrastructure, including Servers, Networks, Laptops, Databases, and Global Support.\nServe as the primary liaison between Honeywell and the selected vendor, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.\nFacilitate regular meetings and communications to track progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to project timelines.\nOversee and manage all aspects of the IT separation project, ensuring effective planning, execution, and reporting.\nEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate project success and alignment with industry standards.\nAssess and allocate resources effectively to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.\nCoordinate with internal and external resources to fulfill IT needs throughout the separation process.\nCreate comprehensive documentation to support infrastructure decisions, processes, and compliance requirements.\nEnsure adherence to regulatory and industry standards in the setup of IT infrastructure.\nWork closely with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions align with business objectives.\nFoster a collaborative environment to address potential obstacles and promote alignment across teams.\n\n

Education:

\n

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

\n

Experience:

\n\n10+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure management, preferably within large-scale organizations.\nProven experience managing complex IT projects, ideally including infrastructure separation processes or mergers and acquisitions.\n\n

Technical Skills:

\n\nExpertise in IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, databases, and end-user devices.\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies and global IT support models.\nStrong project management skills with a certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\n
