Position Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst position will be a part of the GIS Application Platform Services team providing management and support of tools/services to users across all of Illumina. The role's responsibilities include the administration and support of various collaboration platforms and custom applications used for day-to-day activities.  The area of focus is both functional and technical which will include business process analysis, application configuration, application integrations, end user support, and solving complex technical problems.

Responsibilities:

Manage and Support both SAAS and Custom applications to maintain high availability application services to provide users with the tools and data needed to do their jobs effectively.

Manage and Support Internal Ticket EscalationsGeneral to Complex technology support including troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day issues, and root cause analysis of sustaining issuesIndependently debug and resolve complex application issues and problemsMonitor and assist in managing open user forumsProvide application best practice guidance to end usersManage Application Functionality Updates, Integrations, Configurations, Releases and Security SettingsOnboard/Offboard user licenses for select applicationsWork on sustaining issues, enhancements, and projectsDevelop, update, and implement policies and procedures to maintain best practices across the team's portfolioPartner with IT resources in the overall strategy, design, operation, and continual improvement of applications services

Requirements:

Typically has 3-6 years of experience with strong technical and functional experience in hands on application support, administration, configurations, integration, enhancements, and project work.

Experience in a fast-paced, global, corporate environment including the ability to manage expectations and facilitate prioritization effortsEagerness to learn new technology and processesWorking knowledge of Customer Support processes in a global organization Ability to analyze both technical and data problems then propose solutions Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong collaboration skills within a global workforce Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammatesStrong technical experience in hands on application administration and configuration of both on premise and cloud delivered servicesPrior experience and administration with Collaboration Tools such as Asana, Drupal, LucidChart, Quickbase, UiPath etcDatabase experience with the following platforms SQL Server, Mongo, HANA, and MySQL a plusPrior experience and knowledge of the O365 suite including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure, etc a plusAPI and scripting experience a plusAbility to interface well with cross-functional teammatesChange control experience in an FDA regulated environment
