THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Sr. Manager Disaster Recover (DR) will lead and oversee the development, implementation, and governance of our enterprise-wide IT disaster Recovery (“DR”) program. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the organizations’ ability to effectively response to and recover from critical incidents, minimizing disruption to operations, safeguarding data, and infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with exception leadership skills and deep expertise in risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Strategic Leadership o Define and execute the Ulta Beauty IT disaster recovery and business continuity vision, strategy, and roadmap. o Ensure alignment of DR/BC strategies with organizational goals, IT infrastructure and regulatory requirements. o Provide executive-level guidance and updates on program status, risks, and recovery readiness. · Program Development and Maintenance: o Design, implement, and manage the organizations IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans. o Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical processes and systems. o Define recovery objectives (RTOs/RPOs) and develop strategies to meet these requirements. · Policy and Standards Management: o Establish and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines for DR and business continuity. o Ensure alignment with industry best practices, compliance regulations, and organizational goals. · Testing and Validation: o Plan, coordinate, and execute regular DR drills and tests to validate recovery capabilities. o Document results, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve plan effectiveness. · Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: o Collaborate with IT, operations, and business unites to ensure DR strategies align with business needs. o Communicate plans, responsibilities, and expectations clearly to internal and external IT stakeholders. · Crisis Response and Coordination: o Lead response efforts during actual incidents, coordinating recovery teams and resources. o Act as the primary point of contact for disaster-recovery related activities. · Training and Awareness: o Develop and delivery training programs to ensure IT employees are familiar with DR plans and protocols. o Promote a culture of preparedness across the organization. ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT program management roles. Proven track record of leading disaster recovery initiatives in a complex, multi-faceted IT environment. Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and cloud-based environments. Familiarity with DR tools, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., backup solutions, failover technologies). Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership abilities. Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions during crisis. Knowledge for compliance requirements like ISO 22301, GDPR, SOC 2. Preferred certifications include: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE) The pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $153,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
