Sr IT Operations Specialist

As a Sr. IT Operations Specialist, your primary role will be to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, remote desktop, and mobile devices. You will ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved. You will lead the team in weekly ticket assignment sessions, delegating tickets to appropriate team members based on location and individual capacity, and assisting team members with identifying and implementing solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ensure all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolvedLead the team in weekly ticket assignment meetingsDelegate tickets to team members based on location and individual capacityAssist in managing our mobile device contractsProcess mobile device requests according to corporate policyMonitor tickets & workflows in accordance with team’s SLAsProvide technical leadership on projectsCreate documentation where documentation is absentAdminister Active Directory accountsTroubleshoots Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) SupportUtilize remote user support tools to provide supportProvide M/S applications support (Exchange/Outlook, Office, Visio, etc.)Perform (advanced) Windows 10, MAC OS troubleshootingPerform (basic) Linux troubleshootingPerform physical hardware setup and tear downImage systems and deploy software through SCCMProvide rotational on-call support 

Minimum Requirements:

U.S. CitizenAssociate degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field2-4 years’ experience in technical support roleDemonstrated experience supporting Windows 10, MAC OS, iOS, Android, Office 2016 and 0365 suite, Active Directory Administration, Citrix and Virtual PC environments or a combination ofExperience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for device imaging and application deploymentExperience training and delegating tasks to team membersExperience working with mobile device providersExperience supporting a large enterprise environmentAbility to be on call on a rotational basis

Preferred Requirements:

Active Secret or Top-Secret ClearanceWillingness to get a Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, if not already clearedExperience with SharePoint

● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $81,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
