Duties & Responsibilities:
Being knowledgeable of the overall architecture design for Total Lab Automation (TLA).Submitting IT Central requests and assisting local IT teams and vendors with network preparations, firewall rule requests, and instrument/automation related connectivity for TLA.Working with Discipline Directors and vendors, as needed, to create and implement rule criteria for testing conducted via TLA.Providing validation assistance, basic training, and pre-implementation support for TLA.Providing support for go-live and post go-live for TLA.Assisting with the support and maintenance of systems and applications involved with TLA.Once trained, providing on call support for production systems that could extend beyond TLA.Working with laboratory users and IT personnel to identify, develop, and implement workflow optimizations and guides.Traveling to support TLA project(s), could be up to 40%.The individual in this role must have:
Have the ability to learn or already possess solid troubleshooting skills for enterprise level production systems, to include instrument interfaces, middleware platforms and Laboratory Information Systems.Knowledge of network access requirements and troubleshooting. Ability to independently solve issues and determine solutions.Ability to take initiative to learn a new middleware application and then train others in laboratory operations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Experience in Healthcare applications and systems.Requirements:
A minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience utilizing laboratory middleware systems.A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with Chemistry, Immunoassay, Infectious Disease, Hematology, Coagulation, and Microbiology testing and instrumentation within a medium to large laboratory.Experience with Data Innovations and LCWS.Excellent verbal and written communication / documentation skills.Desired Skills and Work Experience:
Healthcare Laboratory experience in a hospital or reference laboratory setting..Application Window closes 2/28/2025
Pay Range: $109,253 - $166,100
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
