Sr. Java Developer

Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Senior Java Developer who’s passionate about software modernization, the ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable applications using Spring Boot and Java.

Oversee the integration of billing systems to ensure seamless operations. Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new values, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy. Job Location: Remote

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and development of scalable applications using Spring Boot and Java.

· Oversee the integration of billing systems to ensure seamless operations.

· Provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure best practices are followed.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

· Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive billing information.

· Optimize application performance to enhance user experience. - Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in billing processes.

· Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making.

· Mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key Qualifications:

· Experienced Associate Architect with 6 to 10 years of experience in Java

· Spring Boot

· Strong background in Billing domain

· Certified Spring Professional

· Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer

The annual salary for this position is between $69,000.00 – 110,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
