As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Connected Commerce Dining Technology , you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains. **Job responsibilities** + Represents a product family of technical governance bodies + Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices + Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks + Partners / Collaborates with application development teams to ensure efficient, secure, scalable, stable design and code + Provides technical guidance and direction to drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes + Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy + Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus + Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle + Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies + Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience + Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability + Advanced in one or more programming language(s) like Java, Python, applications, and architecture concepts like Domain Driven Design + Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud, microservices, web, mobile, data & analytics) + Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight + Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical members of the organization. + Practical cloud native experience + Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture + Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Experience in visualizing architecture using the C4 model is preferred + AWS Experience and/or Certification preferred + Mobile Native Design, Build and/or Architecture experience is preferred - iOS and Android + Experience in UI/UX Development and/or Architecture - Frontend Design, ReactJS, Octagon Framework, AngularJS Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
