The Role

As a Technical Program Manager you will be a key member of the Project Management Office PMO leadership team and will influence the broader strategic and operational needs within the PMO. This position provides expert Program and Project leadership to plan manage and deliver all aspects of one or more large technical and complex cloud migration Programs/Projects crossing multiple disciplines.  Key success factors for this role are a proven track record and passion for leading and delivering Programs and Projects on time on budget and to scope specifications.  This is a senior PM role in a matirx management environment where strong leadership training and mentoring of less experienced PMs is required. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading program for large cloud migrations and a proven track record of working effectively  in a matrix organization with multiple internal and external teams.

The Main Responsibilities   Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical programs from initiation to closure ensuring on time completionPartner with engineering business and cloud provider teams to define program scope objectives and deliverablesCreate and maintain program roadmaps detailed project plans and status reportsIdentify assess and mitigate program risks and dependencies while resolving roadblocks proactivelyManage program budgets resources and schedules ensuring alignment with organizational goalsFacilitate communication between stakeholders and teams driving decision making and issue resolutionDevelop and implement program management best practices tools and templatesMonitor program metrics and KPIs providing actionable insights to stakeholdersSynthesize disparate information into clear recommendations actions and decisionsProvide enterprise wide leadership in critical project solutions and negotiationProvide mentoring to team members What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelors degree or equivalent education and related experienceFamiliarity with multicloud environments and hyperscaler ecosystems10+ years of experience with enterprise IT transformations or cloud migrationsStrong understanding of software development life cycle SDLC methodologies including Agile Scrum and WaterfallExperience with program management tools such as JIRA ADO Smartsheet or equivalentProven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with high complexity and interdependenciesExceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills

Masters degree with 8+ years of related experiencePMP Certification Scrum Master Certification Advanced Project Management Degree Masters CertCloud certification in AWS Azure or GCP e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Professional Cloud Architect is highly preferredLegal Statements

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

 

Location Based Pay Ranges

$111,480 - $148,630 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$117,340 - $156,450 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$123,210 - $164,280 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$129,080 - $172,100 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
