Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Soft Skills Trainer to join our team. This dynamic role involves leading & delivering impactful training sessions, workshops, and seminars based on business needs, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to identify training requirements and design effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in curating content for soft skills, strong proficiency in MS Office tools, and a moderate understanding of e-learning platforms.
Delivery will be through collaboration with HERE Academies* and other HERE divisions.
*HERE academies- Currently we have 4 academies Business, Leadership, Technology and Product.
Main Responsibilities
Training Delivery:
Lead the delivery of high-impact soft skills training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all organizational levels.Mentor and coach junior trainers to enhance their facilitation skills and delivery effectiveness.Ensure training methodologies are advanced, scalable, and tailored to global & diverse learner profiles.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to identify training gaps and align solutions with organizational objectives.Serve as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven recommendations for training programs and development initiativesContent Curation:
Curate customized training materials, handouts, presentations, and activities tailored to audience needs.Ensure training content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices.Program Management:
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of large-scale training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.Establish and maintain efficient processes for program scheduling, logistics coordination, and resource allocation.E-Learning hands-on:
Create blended learning approaches combining traditional and digital methods to maximize impact.Be able to create content in e-learning tools if requiredPerformance Evaluation:
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and measurable outcomes.Lead efforts to continuously improve learning outcomes and maximize ROI through data-driven insights and actionable strategies.Tool Utilization:
Leverage Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to design professional training resources and reports.Utilize learning management systems (LMS) or e-learning platforms to track and manage training delivery.Who are you?
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of training designing, and delivery experience (human(soft) skills preferred)Certification in soft skills training, adult learning principles, or related areas is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Moderate knowledge of e-learning tools and platforms (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar)Proven history of delivery via in person/virtual training. Experience in leading global trainings will be an asset.Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt content to varying needs.Analytical skills to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness. Possess a growth mindset and high learning agility.
