Your Responsibilities on the Team
The Government Insuring Specialist is responsible for the audit of FHA, VA and USDA loans for submission to the appropriate government agency for insurance or guaranty. Prepares FHA/VA/USDA loans for submission upon request and monitors endorsements.Review and submission of the FHA UFMIP, VA Funding Fee and USDA guarantee fee.This position communicates with various departments for missing documents or rejected case binder items and corresponds with all investors and/or agencies when needed.Investigate and solve issues preventing insuring. Must maintain required timeframes regarding FHA, VA and USDA insuring, as outlined by Manager. Utilize delivery systems to transmit data electronically.Responsible for the monitoring of several assigned pipelines .Initiate verbal and written communication with government agencies, such as the VA and FHA for problem resolution.Requirements
Minimum of two years mortgage banking experience in areas of loan closing or post-closing preferred. Should be familiar with common mortgage closing documents.Candidates must be highly organized and process-oriented with strong attention to detail. This position requires efficient handling of time sensitive products, clearance of errors, omissions, and deficiencies. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the company and investors. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook a must.Life at Lennar
