GENERAL SUMMARY
Work with internal logistics team to implement, follow, and improve processes taking into consideration H&S recommendations and the operation efficiency. Additionally, work with BRP’s sites for standarization and improvment projects. Align to BRP goals and objectives. Plan investments and make a correct follow-up ensuring OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control according to BRP strategy. Coordinate Engineering and Internal Logistics Teams to ensure successful launches of new projects including new platforms, rate increase projects, special projects, etc.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Administration
• 3-5 years of experience in related field or similar
• Bilingual (English, Spanish), both oral and written
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Strong project management skills
• Strong knowledge in packaging design and Packaging Requirement Specifications (PRS)
• Budget tracking experience

• Have knowledge with MRP, JIT system, ISO, SPC and SAP
• Knowledge in area of procurement, internal logistic, external logistic, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control and warehousing
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible of process creation and optimization in the Logistics Department. Additionally, meet department goals for PSP/DMAIC/OPS, IDEAs.
• Focus on continuous improvement projects to optimize processes.
• Influence and ensure the relationship inside engineering team and with internal logistics team is according to BRP expectations. Additionally, ensure a win-win relationship with other departments and BRP suppliers.
• Ensure all part numbers are codified correctly on SAP master data to avoid downtime, loss of efficiency, wrong space calculations, etc.
• Manage, buy, assign, dispose, and influence a correct maintenance and proper use on mobile equipment and warehouse racking
• Perform manpower calculation for budget and operation purposes
• Propose, design, and obtain budget approvals to implement cost-saving projects based on returnable packaging. Ensure packaging fleet is complete and in proper condition.
• Prepare budget previsions and ensure proper follow-up. Ensure financial OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control according to BRP goals.
• Performs activities related to H&S (preventive, corrective, ergonomic, etc.)
• Show leadership and commitment to establish, maintain and improve the Quality Management system
• Promote the continuous improvement and the customer focus.
• Responsible of coordinate engineering changes, management information reports, and statistical data as required
• Ensure implementation and follow up BRPMS initiatives.
• Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.
• Comply with safety rules according to the function.
• Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.
• Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
