Sr Manager, Accounts & Business Development
Position OverviewThe Senior Manager, Accounts & Business Development role is responsible for growing the Company's customer base and servicing its existing customers in the region. This is a highly visible leadership position which will provide direct supervision and guidance to its team members as well provide indirect leadership and influencing skills with its cross-functional partners and external contacts. Specifically, the Senior Manager, Accounts & Business Development will guide their team to identify the needs of new and existing customers, build the Company's brand recognition and reputation as the wholesale partner of choice, develop their team members, and work cross-functionally to maximize sales and profitability for the Company.

Job Description

Relationship Management: Leverage developed relationships with key customers in order to create and implement best practices, grow sales and grow purchase concentration ratio.Business Development Pipeline: Develop, implement, and execute sales prospecting plans and manage associated related projects. Establish and maintain a pipeline of prospective new customers and associated opportunities through competitive intel, relationship building and participation in food shows, customer meetings, and trade shows.Right Players, Right Places: Drive business impact by building, developing and scaling existing team to generate growth and sales opportunities; and lead team to be organized, aligned with and accountable to company goals, focused on delivering the best possible support for the company's customers.Sales Strategy: Support customer's business strategy by providing and maintaining the highest level of service; develop solutions to enable revenue growth for both the customer and the company. Oversee recurring business review(s) with their respective business base. Achieve and/or exceed sales budget targets.Operations: Knowledge and understanding of capacity planning, operational KPI's, customer calls, warehouse/transportation quality, on-time delivery, etc. which has implications in planning of new business and customer expansion and effectively communicate internally and externallyDeal Execution: Lead the closure of new business deals by coordinating business and customer requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders to develop financially sound proposals that drive EBITDA, and lead (or assist as applicable) customer negotiations of contracts.Escalation Point/BCP: Understand and manage escalated customer relationships efficiently and effectively.Contract Responsibility: Monitor and manage contract renewals and category expansion, provide support to business development with pipeline awareness. Assess C-Sat trends.Market Positioning: Understand the value proposition to effectively sell C&S solutions and coordinate and create national selling materials to be used throughout the organization.Travel Required:Yes

Skills

Specialized Knowledge : Knowledge of Sales processes; Strong and detailed P&L knowledge and deep understanding of contractual relationships; Deep understanding of finance and related fields - accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.Special Skills : Strong multitasking, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a team or independently; must work well under pressure and be able to handle multiple projects in multiple environments at one time; Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills. Prior supervisory experience requiredPhysical abilities: : Ability to work in-person in multiple environments (office, customer site, industry trade shows, remotely, etc.)

Years Of Experience

7-10 : Years of experience in M&A, Finance, Sales, and/or Business & Corporate Development with focus on P&L development with strong preference for M&A deal development and experience.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree - Business Administration/Management, Bachelor's Degree - Finance
