**Job Title:** Sr Manager, Brokerage **Department:** Supply Chain **Country:** United States of America **State/Province:** Illinois **City:** Alton **Full/Part Time:** Full time **Job Summary:** Under general direction, the incumbent is responsible for some account ownership and directing the overall activities of an ICS branch to maintain growth targets and profitability, develop and grow our employees, and build and foster cross-divisional influence and external relationships to provide a best-in-class customer experience. **Job Description:** **Key Responsibilities:** • Initiate growth focused activities to realize and capture market potential. • Properly manage risk and maintain financial integrity in all business matters. • Network with internal sales and marketing staff to develop and grow business. • Responsible for budget and profit margins to meet and exceed branch and business unit goals for profitability. • Hire, train and develop staff to meet branch objectives in regards to customer satisfaction, sales, and operations to ensure superior, on-time service for customers. **Qualifications:** **Minimum Qualifications** : + High School Diploma or GED. + 4-5 years in Transportation/Logistics. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree. + 5+ years in Transportation/Logistics. + Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting. + Ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals or teams in learning and improving effectiveness. + Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. + Create goals that support business strategies. + Ability to apply organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. + Utilize assigned resources and leverage resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes. + Develop and improve individual, team, and organizational performance. + Ability to provide services and support to key clients. + The expected starting pay range for this position is between $68,000 - $85,000. This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship. **Compensation:** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
