Leads complex business resiliency initiatives with a focus on business continuity and crisis management, consisting of high visibility, cost, and/or cross-functional impact. Influences and guides other project/program resources in the completion of highly complex, highly impactful projects across Asurion’s APAC and Japan regions. Works closely with multiple areas of the business and technology to understand business goals and solution needs, to provide robust resiliency planning.  Contributes to strategic objectives of the organization as it relates to Business Resiliency.  Builds relationships at senior levels required to solve program impediments. Subject matter expert on a wide variety of business resiliency best practices. Ensures effective and responsive crisis management processes and protocols are in place throughout the regions.  

This position will develop strategy, influence change and drive cross-functional collaboration with key business partners to ensure consistency with the GBR program policies and standards. The position requires demonstrated success in driving results and obtaining buy-in of program goals and objectives at all levels of the company, including Line-Of-Business (LOB) Executive management, senior management, line management and other employees as needed.  Prior experience in developing and maintaining a Corporate Crisis Management framework required.  

The ability to effectively negotiate, work independently, as well as provide strategic problem solving and decision making is critical in this senior resiliency role.  The Sr Manager, Business Resiliency has responsibility for assigned regions resiliency.  As such, experience in development and implementation of a resiliency program is required to ensure success in these major program areas: program governance, crisis management, risk assessments (supplier, proximity and BIA), plan development / update / testing cycles, and training / awareness.
