Primary Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Reporting and Analytics is an integral part of the customer account team providing analytics, reporting, and management of account support functions for the customer account. The individual will work closely with the Leadership team and provide direct support to all divisions of customer. The Sr. Manager, Reporting and Analytics will be required to access both IRI data and customers’ specific database to mine data for specific projects, as identified by Leadership and team. The individual will be responsible for creating reports from scratch, using Excel Workbooks, Power BI platform, and shared tools to measure the effectiveness of the identified strategies. Essential Functions Responsible for aggregating and analyzing data to support strategic decisions, as well as predictions and accountability to the Leadership. Customer-facing; must be able to communicate effectively directly with customer and present data and presentations in a professional mannerImplement smooth and efficient data analytics that support and integrate with the customerTalent in synthesizing data and communicating effectively both orally and in writing with people at all organizational level (internal and external)Create presentations utilizing data to influence key customer decisions.  Example would include: Top to Top Business Reviews, Brand Initiatives and specific reviews and working closely with Growth Solutions counterparts on competitive market data.Demonstrates a strong attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasksDemonstrates ability to work productively and effectively as part of a teamUnderstand business needs and objectivesLeveraging relationships with KeHE cross-functional personnel, customer personnel, and vendorsProvide real-time information around vendor performance and product availabilityDevelop and maintain scorecard to support key initiativesBuild, develop, and maintain data models, reporting system, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisionsOversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and performance metricsManage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, modeling, visualization, and communication deliverablesProvide financial reporting to internal account teamLead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decision and reveal optimization opportunities.Examine, interpret, and report results of analytics initiatives to stakeholdersSupport the account team with weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting responsibilitiesComplete ad-hoc projects as requestedWeekly Service as Measured by Customer reporting, Account Dashboard/ScorecardMonthly vendor performance scorecardingResearch and communicate ad-hoc store specific service level requestsRecruit, train, develop, and supervise analyst-level employees (if applicable). Provide leadership to teams in order to achieve superior business results. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred; high school diploma required. Minimum of five (5) years relevant business experience or related function required. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be consideredWorking knowledge of data mining principles, analytics, mapping, and collecting data from multiple data systemsStrong technical and analytical background with the ability to analyze and translate data into strategic actions. Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Cognos, and Power BIStrong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueriesAbility to gather/query data from Excel, AS400, Cognos, or other external data sourcesExperience working with and creating dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisionExperience using analytics to contribute to growth efforts or other key business initiativesPresentation skills and aptitude is a must as this role will participate and present internally and externally on key strategiesStrong organizational skills, time management and negotiating skills. Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.Must have strong working knowledge of revenue, POD, trade management, assessment of marketplace, and voids. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.Strong problem solving, quantitative, and analytical abilitiesStrong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skillsOutstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills with people at all organizational levelsAbility to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’sPrior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferredDemonstrates the competencies of: financial acumen, ability to collaborate, courage, sense of urgency, and effectively managing complexityAbility and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekendsAbility and willingness to travel by air and stay overnight to support the requirements of the positionComfort and experience utilizing Microsoft desktop and legacy enterprise software.
