A Day in the Life:Assemble and analyze business requirements and translate these into standardized business processes, including definitions, templates, data sources, technology roadmap, and roles and responsibilities.Lead processes, identify gaps, and develop teams with a divisional scope.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop or improve business process standardization.Build or collaborate in developing important metrics that support the demand consensus planning process and business objectives.Demonstrate deep knowledge of demand planning and supply chain process concepts.Build, document, or map business processes targeted for change via approved projects, including current and future states.Collaborate or lead with the business process architect, process owner, and business subject matter authorities (SMEs) to analyze proposed process changes or projects, including risk and benefits analysis, interdependency analysis with other business processes, and information, technology, and solution portfolios.Serve as a direct or indirect team lead, consolidating and rationalizing inputs from multiple demand planners.Lead improvement initiatives, system upgrades, critical mapping, and system development activities.Display strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, promptly identifying deviations from anticipated outcomes and resolving issues efficiently.Lead multiple projects simultaneously and possess people management experience.Desired: Supply Chain Certifications, APICS, CPIM or LEAN.Availability to travel.Collaboration ChampionAbility to identify modifications to business practices to take full advantage of technology innovation.Builds excellent relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence.Guiding/educating/coaching/mentoring collaborators toward desired business outcomes.Influential and credible, especially with decision-makers and operational teams.Use thought leadership to anticipate future needs and changes that might be required.The ability to build original concepts and theories for a variety of projects and to think creatively and beyond usual constraints.Analytical ThinkingStrong analytical and conceptual skills.Collecting data and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative information, including metrics related to business processes and measures tied to business goals.Ability to refine and train algorithms to aid in analysis and scenario planning.Analyze process needs and balance complicated interests. Evaluate resources needed to meet objectives and tackle problems that span multiple environments in a business area.Process & Systems AgilityVendor-neutral (no specific preference toward a particular vendor or technology).Understand multiple processes across different systems to produce accurate results.Able to identify modifications to business practices to take full advantage of technology innovation.The ability to build original concepts and theories for various projects and think creatively and beyond constraints.Data OrchestrationThe capability to translate business objectives and metrics into arguments for specific projects and the resulting outcomes.Knowledge of finance, sales, marketing, and R&D functions.Use thought leadership to anticipate future needs and changes that might be required.Keys to Success:
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or similar fields is required.7+ years of experience in supply chain knowledge with proven experience building, standing up, scaling, and maturing demand planning processes.People Leadership experience in Demand Planning.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Budgeting and revenue management.Deep domain expertise in Demand or Supply Planning, ideally in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical industries.Proven change management experience and ability to lead through change and rapid growth.Knowledge of business systems and information technology managing sophisticated supply chain activities.Strong leader with the ability to influence and lead across a large, geographically diverse organization.Requires considerable interpretation of data, independent judgment, and good analytical ability to handle multifaceted situations.Experience with different ERP systems (SAP, LAWSON, ORACLE etc).Lean, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma.Experience in GMP or other regulated environments.This position does not offer relocation benefits.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $117,000.00–$175,500.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
