We are seeking a Senior Network Manager who is passionate about delivering technology products and platforms across the organization. The Senior Technology Manager’s primary responsibility is to partner with their business areas and provide technology solutions and services that help deliver CarMax’s strategic mission and plans. This includes development of long and short-term technology solutions that address business goals and deliver improved profitability, efficiency, and an unrivaled customer experience.

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of technologists and developers with deep experience in technology to create solutions that help meet needs for the company Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code Collaborate with business partners and deliver robust technology solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of CarMax customers get into their dream car! Design and implement a security first approach to all new design and architecture to truly build a DevSecOps TeamPurpose of the role
The Senior Manager for Enterprise Systems will lead a team of managers, architects, and engineers to help enable CarMax's Cloud Journey using a security first approach. As a leader within the organization, you will be results-oriented, data-driven, and have a proven track record in influencing outcomes without direct decision-making authority. The Senior Manager will not only be responsible for short-term and long-term project/strategy planning but will directly influence the technology journey within CarMax. The Senior Manager will be comfortable guiding teams to build a robust technology environment and be passionate about availability and security.
The Senior Manager will lead a team of associates by setting performance standards and motivating associates to perform quality work. The Senior Manager is responsible for identifying high performing talent, gaps in talent, and train and develops associates to close the gaps. The Manager mentors and develops future leaders in courageous leadership, associate development, and communication skills.
