As a Sr Manager, FE Central QA at Micron, you will have an outstanding chance to lead a highly skilled team in Boise! You will guide your team to achieve magnificent product quality and implement central initiatives. Your role will be critical in maintaining Micron's excellent quality and reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish functional area objectives, align roles and responsibilities, and communicate the department and company strategic objectives.Recruit, develop, and lead a team of engineers by outlining SMART goals, presenting strategy, and driving execution to line-of-sight metrics.Define job responsibilities and performance and development goals for direct reports.Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct formal performance appraisals for team members.Collect, review, and deliver verbal and written performance feedback to continuously develop your functional area.Supervise and lead functional area performance to meet or exceed targets.Collaborate with the local site to enhance product performance and improve efficiency.Ensure compliance with global business processes, standards, and specifications.Collaborate with teams from different departments and global quality standard owners to develop and implement effective strategies.Provide technical direction on product risk assessments and process conversions, with authority to make final decisions on product dispositions.Drive high levels of teamwork and effectively communicate complex issues to internal and external groups.Develop direct reports, ensure individual development plans are in place, and prioritize team activities.Cultivate relationships with global organizations and cross-functional areas to promote collaboration.Use performance management to achieve results aligned with corporate vision.Manage and drive critical metrics to achieve benchmark performance.Ensure the highest quality material shipments from the fab.QualificationsDemonstrated management abilities in a leadership role.Proven ability to develop and mentor team members.Proven ability to drive complex initiatives to completion.Technical knowledge of DRAM/FLASH processing/product operation.Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Master’s or equivalent experience in EE, Material Science (BS + 5 years' experience).As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
