 This is a hybrid position based in our San Diego, CA office. 

The Position:

In this role, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and providing strategic guidance to our global operations organization. Working closely with the SVP of Global Operations and a high performing finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth operational analysis to senior management and the executive team.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Serve as a financial partner to SVP of Global Operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the operations organization in achieving its financial and operational goals Develop and implement financial strategies and plans in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives Lead and oversee strategic and annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, predictive analytics, internal reporting, and performance management against projections Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including lab operations, Client Services, Supply Chain, executives, and external partners Contribute to the development and implementation of new business initiatives and projects Conduct thorough and detailed analysis to produce data-driven recommendations to enable leadership decisions Drive projects and business plan modeling from inception to completion, ensuring all workstream deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and with quality Development, implement, and continuously improve processes and systems Lead the development and monitoring of key operational metrics to drive financial performance Proactively assess new business opportunities and their impact to the financial and business goals of the company Provide leadership to the FP&A team, constantly raising the bar of expectation and develop a world class organization, establish global best practices, and instill a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity, and transparency Who You Are Qualifications: 5+ years of industry related experience Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA Preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to project manage and facilitate group meetings Experience in process improvement methodologies Experience in healthcare and/or life science industry (preferred)

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Pay range$153,000—$171,000 USD
