Based in Milwaukee, WI, this leadership position oversees the global talent acquisition strategy, collaborates with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs, and manages a high-performing, geographically dispersed team. You will be instrumental in shaping our talent acquisition and employment brand efforts to attract top-tier talent in line with our global business objectives. Location: Milwaukee, WI @ 648 N. Plankinton Avenue. Shift: In office M-TH, WFH on Friday’s Reports to: VP, Talent Key Responsibilities: Global Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Enerpac’s long-term business goals. Along with your global TA team, ensure that our processes meet the needs of all of our global teams while understanding and adapting to local market conditions. Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a geographically distributed talent acquisition team. Currently 4 Recruiters and three Talent Acquisition Coordinators with plans to add another Recruiter in our Netherlands location. Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture, while ensuring that each team member is aligned with the company’s goals and values. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, our HR team and hiring managers. Help identify talent needs and provide solutions that align with both regional and global strategies. Influence talent acquisition practices, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. Owner of talent acquisition policies and ensure that the organization understands these policies and that the TA team helps the organization to uphold these policies for internal and external hiring. End-to-End Recruitment Management: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a superior candidate experience. Continuously assess and optimize the recruitment process to enhance hiring effectiveness and speed. Own the vendor relationship with our pre-hire partners, our ATS vendor (iCIMS) and all external third-party recruiting vendors. The Sr. Manager, TA is a partner with our Indirect Sourcing leader for approving ALL agency contracts that we commit to. Culture Building: Ensure diverse candidate pipelines, promote inclusive hiring practices around the world. Employer Branding: Work closely with marketing and communications teams to develop and enhance a global employer brand that resonates with top talent. Implement innovative recruitment marketing strategies to attract candidates and communicate the company's values, culture, and career opportunities. Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Leverage recruitment data and analytics to monitor team performance, identify hiring trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership on a regular basis. Use data to continuously optimize recruitment strategies and improve key performance indicators (KPIs). Market Insights & Compliance: Stay abreast of global talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment technology innovations. Ensure compliance with labor laws and recruitment regulations around the world. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 8 years in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing global recruitment teams, including experience in EMEA, APAC, & Americas. Proven track record of developing and executing global recruitment strategies and managing end-to-end recruitment operations across multiple regions. Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of global talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading distributed teams across time zones and regions. Expertise in building strong, inclusive cultures where everyone is able to thrive and build a strong career. Ability to teach, guide and coach a globally dispersed team. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and other departments to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals. Proficient in leveraging data and analytics to drive recruitment process improvements and inform strategic decision-making. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and strong relationships with key stakeholders – employees and leaders alike. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
