Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team of technical individual contributors and manager(s) responsible for design, architecture, and successful operation of T-Mobile IMS Network, including but not limited to P/S/I-CSCFs, TAS, SBC and other network nodes.Seek out new technologies, alternative and best practice solutions to business problems, especially multi-tenant private and public cloud and new AI driven tools and approaches.Communicate pertinent information effectively with all stakeholders to foster cross-functional collaboration and success for the team.Seek out strategic relationships that will increase team output, process accuracy, improve time to market and customer experience. Manage relationships with vendors, manage operational and capital budgets, manage network cost and performance that directly impact company business metrics. Deliver feedback and develops team members and managers, inspire employees to achieve business results. Facilitate goal creation and measurement and drive organizational direction through goal setting and alignment. Demonstrate a customer first attitude by keeping commitments and holding employees accountable. Foster environment where team members identify problems, risks to continually review key business initiatives and find optimal resolutions. 


Education:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or related field


Work Experience:

7+ years of technical engineering experience2-4 years People Management Experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong background in 3G / 4G / 5G end to end wireless communications systems, architectures, protocols and infrastructures as well as IP and cloud, with deep understanding of how new technologies and services may impact network elements and performance. Significant experience in designing UMTS/HSPA/LTE and 5G wireless telecommunications coverage, capacity, or functional architectures in an optimal way to maximize performance and brand differentiation, minimize cost of ownership and establish multi-year financial outlook. Meaningful experience working with multiple teams to do network capacity planning using call models and data usage scenarios to support existing and forecasted subscriber growth while managing cost and optimizing network architecture. Deep understanding of what network aspects drive customer Quality of Experience for various services. Experience with VoLTE, VILTE, OTT, LTE and VoNR nodes interworking, including SIP peering and failover/redundancy strategies, capacity modelling, Quality of Service planning and dimensioning of SDN/NFV nodes. Experience developing and delivering executive presentations and briefings.People Management ability and desire to lead teams, including cross-functionally. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support. Clear business and technical written and verbal communication skills. The ability to demonstrate concern and meet external and/or internal customers’ needs.Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure. Able to simultaneously support multiple strategically significant tasks under fixed/accelerated deadlines.

Base Pay Range: $148,400 - $267,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
