Sr Manager, Wireless Solutions Eng - SLED

The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering-SLED leads a geographically dispersed team that partners with Business Sales to sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. SEs engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to understand their business, identify their challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs.

The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering – SLED will lead architects and designs solutions, provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, as well as providing answers to customers' deep technical inquiries specifically in for the SLED/Government space. SE’s further supports Business Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales funnels. SE’s will keep the Government Sales teams they support appraised of relevant technologies and industry trends.

SLED SE's will maintain advanced level technical knowledge within a defined product set:
Telematics, Private Networks, IoT, Fixed Wireless, Collaboration, Cloud, UEM, Security, Partner Device and Application ecosystem certification and enablement.

SEs maintain their technical skills and industry expertise by participating in internal and external training opportunities. SEs also pursue and maintain partner or industry certification as required for their position.

The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering- SLED is a technical leader with solid business acumen, balancing knowledge of the Government space, technical experience, strategic thinking, communication skills and leadership prowess to successfully build and coach a team that consistently delivers innovative and differentiated solutions for our T-Mobile for Business customers.

Responsibilities

Supports Pre-sales Activities (including, but not limited to) provide RFP technical input, strategize with sales team to improve Regional/National sales, own customer technical relationships, understanding nuances, and drivers, design and architect services and solutions, uncover opportunities and recommend solutions, partners ability to review and demonstrate product roadmap to customers and sales team.Engaged to for Executive Briefing Center presentations.Identify and develop SE’s, industry leading talent in SLED opportunities.Assist with Go to Market strategy with sales, product, and 3rd party vendors to include

5G Advance Network/IoT Solutions supported deployment and sizing.

Assist with training, technical documentation and development for the Solution

Engineering and Government Sales organizations.

Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams to provide

feedback, support special projects, and engage in market-level opportunities.

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in Telecommunications or Cloud/SaaS leadership role.Proven track record in building and developing successful teams in the

Government/SLED space.

Understanding of Government buying cycles and purchasing vehicles preferredSuccess in solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix

environment and technical strategy.

2+ years public cloud, Private Network and/or IoT experience.Bachelor’s degree Required, MS/MBA PreferredPresentation skills are required to convey design benefits to a wide range of audiences.Proven ability work with cross-functional teams; excellent interpersonal skillsExperience working with both technical and non-technical teams to define, scope and

prioritize product requirements

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; bias toward making data-based decision and

comfortable with analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

At least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GED

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $160,700 - $289,800, inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $112,490 - $202,860
