INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS Commercial risk team provides risk solutions to businesses across a large number of sectors within the UK. Typically, clients will be either a national or a multinational company, with a presence in no more than 10 overseas territories. These clients will be looking for a local relationship with their broker, to provide a tailored approach towards transactional risk transfer as well as risk management advice and services. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: You will be a part of Aon’s UK Retail Business and will act as key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice, high quality, innovative and profitable service in accordance with the client’s needs and the agreed Scope of Service Agreement. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of insurance procedures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the service provided to Client Service Advisors based in UK by your team of Business Service Support. Ensure the highest level of service to assigned client portfolio in line with the agreed client service tools. Build effective working relationships with UK and India based Client Service Team to ensure the best of Aon and the highest level of service to each assigned Client Service Advisor is provided in line with the agreed service tools. Experience in team management, and ability to lead team of up to 10 or more subject matter experts, ensuring that theirs and own objectives are aligned with the overall business strategy, that performance is satisfactory, and any necessary action is taken to continually to develop capability as future leaders. Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills. Adhere to all HR processes and dates. Experienced in implementing the adequate process controls and review mechanism. Ability to lead a larger team with multiple clients with high complexity and conflicting expectations. Collaborate and work with other support functions i.e., Quality, IT, HR, Admin etc for the operations stabilisation and delivery results. Coach and mentor direct reports where appropriate, to support personal and professional development in the high-potential population, supporting retention, engagement and succession plan aims. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Strong experience across Insurance and/or Financial Services industry. We'll happily consider candidates from broking, claims handling and underwriting backgrounds. Passionate, curious engaging individual who enjoys human interactions and developing deep relationships and connections. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to deadlines. The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required. A positive can-do approach and mind-set A problem-solving mindset – seeks out solutions rather than problems. Analytical skills Excellent attention to detail – will be drafting details reports and client communications. Ability to work individually and in a team.
