SR MANAGER DATA ANALYTICS

Position Purpose:
 

The role requires critical thought leadership focused on developing analytical processes, tools, and strategy for driving improved performance throughout the supply chain. This role is responsible for managing an organization that spans a wide-range of functional and technical skillsets. This role helps to drive analytical initiatives to tangible results meeting and exceeding the supply chain’s operational and financial targets. The role requires considerable analytical and technical skills, ability to effectively describe those processes to leadership, and successfully drive implementation.   The role requires strong partnership & communication skills with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

15% - Capital Planning - Establishes short and long range capital plans and executes projects in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with utmost customer satisfaction.20% - Implementation - Develops, plans and implements department's goals and objectives.15% - Problem Solving - Provides sophisticated and scalable solutions when confronting challenging analytical and technical challenges.50% - Team Leadership - Manages, develops, and maintains a team dedicated to analytics projects throughout numerous elements of the supply chain.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

This Position typically reports to Director Supply Chain Analytics.This role has 3 direct reports.


Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of TableauWorking knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)Proficient with data mining software (e.g., IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, Hadoop)Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to develop and apply advanced mathematical/statistical techniquesAbility to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentationDemonstrated project management skillsAbility to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsM.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, supply chain or related quantitative fieldWork experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, or comparable database systemsExpert knowledge in large scale information retrieval and statistical analysis
 

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


Preferred Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
