The Senior Product Manager will be a product leader tasked with developing and executing against the Data Product Strategy that would leverage and enhance products across various lines of business. Specifically, the SPM will be responsible for spending time and developing deep relationships with our key business stakeholders across GWS & Corporate to truly bring their data science needs to the forefront and influence the business and product roadmaps. They will report to Vice President of Data Product Management. The SPM must have a passion for developing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customer’s workflows and provide the right information at the right time. The individual must possess technical expertise in new and emerging data science AI/ML fields, project management experience and a strong knowledge of product management, data analytics, and a keen desire to understand current customer pain points. What you’ll do + Lead and define the product/platform strategy and roadmap for Data Science projects + Be embedded in the business to truly understand the needs of the customer and build the roadmap from there on out + Own the functional vision of the products; identify and manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities. Leverage emerging technology knowledge to amplify product development + Stakeholder management: Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data science products to executive teams across the company. Manage a unified data science roadmap taking the intent from relevant business teams. Drive feature prioritization and influence decisions to package scope for monthly/quarterly delivery + Facilitate conversations between all impacted stakeholders, including executives, data scientists, ML Ops experts, engineers, analysts, other product teams, and external customers + Instigate a feedback loop with core customer groups, to understand their specific user requirements. + Recent experience in working on Natural Language Processing solutions, LLMs like GPT, LLaMa etc + Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, statistical modelling & optimization. Must have an understanding of algorithms underpinning various statistical models from regression, classification, clustering to optimization and decision theory + Be able to influence at all levels of the organization. What you’ll need + At least 7+ years previous experience in data and related product/program management + Relevant Product and data leadership experience, comfortable with ambiguity and able to influence and consult + Proven track record leading product delivery in an agile development environment. + Strong empathy with end user experience. + Strong communicator – able to communicate a narrative that aligns the use of data with a company’s overall commercial strategy. + Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight to twelve years of related experience and/or training, including five years of experience at the management level + The successful candidate will be a highly quantitative, resilient, results-oriented leader + Forward-thinking, and well-versed in emerging data technologies and trends + The individual must be a strategic thinker who can solve issues as well as build processes for growth + Good balance between analytical, business and technical skills + Excellent communicator: capable of articulating the right narrative to all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong support and sponsorship + Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating good user experiences, as evidenced by high customer satisfaction scores + Significant product management experience, where s/he owned the product road map + The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance; seen as a strong, developer of future leaders + Leads by example and drives the organization's performance with an attitude of continuous improvement **Leadership & Vision:** Drives excellence through skillful prioritization and allocation of the problems to be solved amongst adequately resourced teams. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Manager Data Product – AI/ML & Data Science position is 165,000.00 annually [or $79.32 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr Manager Data Product – AI/ML & Data Science position is $180,000.00 annually [or $86.53 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
