GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Manager of Finance is a key leader / business advisor in FP&A to support the LensCrafters retail business. This person works directly with key business partners to ensure financial discipline is being followed at all levels.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Forecast/Budgets/Estimate

Develop monthly/quarterly forecasts for all Gross Margin line items, in partnership with functional leaders to ensure accuracy Partner with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on all assumptions and KPIs Build and assist in completion of forecast packages to leadership team

Month End Close

Lead monthly P&L analysis including variance explanations in partnership with accounting team and functional partners Research variances to identify the key reasons, follow up with accounting and cross functional teams as needed and effectively communicate results to leadership

Reporting

Translate store activities and brand projects into financial impact and make recommendations to mitigate risk and increase profitability Prepare monthly Gross Margin analysis by commodity and product category with insights into key drivers and potential areas for improvement Manage corporate reporting templates and requests Collaborate with functional partners and accounting teams on ad-hoc requests

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

S. in Accounting or Finance 7+ years accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Accounting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes Exceptional analysis skills, curiosity to research issues and willingness to expand breadth of knowledge Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Systems – advanced excel skills, experience with Business Objects, ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Hyperion Essbase/Planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA Retail finance experience

​Pay Range: 140,818.80  - 203,626.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
