This new position will be a member of the Finance Planning Systems team within the Global FP&A team and is a hybrid position located in Cushman & Wakefield’s global Chicago headquarters. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global FP&A – Finance Planning Systems, this role will be responsible for overseeing the management of the planning systems used by Cushman & Wakefield’s FP&A teams around the world. This role will also have the unique opportunity to influence the development and standardization of the future finance systems roadmap, as Cushman is embarking on a multiyear journey to improve our tools and processes.Job Description
Skills / Abilities necessary:Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related applicationsExperience with financial systems such as HFM, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, SAP, Workday, JD Edwards, Adaptive, or othersExperience with forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysisAbility to define and lead work processes across peers, departments, geographiesAbility and courage to challenge status quoAbility to operate under challenging time constraints, and the ability to address multiple deliverables simultaneouslyComfortable working within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate complex financial processes in a clear and concise mannerAttention to detail is a critical factor for success in this roleAmbitious and motivated self-starterDemonstrated initiative, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExperience:10+ years broad based and progressive experience in finance and accounting rolesPrior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience is a strong plusPrior experience supporting financial systems is preferredDetailed Position Responsibilities:Maintain current Hyperion/Essbase planning tools – user support/training, budget / forecast cyclesPlay a key role on the Financial Data Management (FDM) master data governance team to improve linkage between all systems and hierarchiesCollaborate with HR leaders to work through master data cleanup and process improvementsCollaborate with local and Corporate Finance teams on monthly financial submissions, system data validation, and issue resolution; system training and supportSupport usage of other tools and processes for financial reporting (ie. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
